Condom Size Comparison by Brand

Compare condom sizes by brand using nominal width, length, shape and material instead of relying on labels such as regular, large, XL or king size. This guide brings together current manufacturer specifications from six major condom brands and explains where their standard, snug, wide and custom-fit products actually overlap.

45–69+ mm Spectrum No Calculator Regional Specs Labelled
Condom Size Comparison by Brand: A brand's “regular,” “large” or “XL” label is not a universal technical size. For example, SKYN standard is 53 mm, Pasante Regular is 54 mm, Durex Regular is 56 mm, and SKYN Large is also 56 mm. Use the exact nominal width and product length whenever possible.

Condom Size Comparison by Brand: Quick Overview

Condom brands do not share a single sizing dictionary. One brand's “regular” can be another brand's “large,” while an XL product may be much longer without being dramatically wider at the base. The most useful comparison number is nominal width: the condom's flat product width, generally stated in millimetres. Length, contour and material should then be checked separately.

This guide compares current official specifications from Durex UK, SKYN UK, Pasante, Trojan US, ONE/MyONE US and LELO. Because product catalogues differ by country, region is stated wherever it materially affects availability. Do not assume every product shown here is sold in every market.

Some brands publish tolerances, shaped base/mid-body widths or regional catalogues, so the chart preserves those distinctions rather than forcing every product into one simplified number.

What Counts as “Regular” Across Different Condom Brands?

There is no single universal regular condom width. That becomes obvious once brand specifications are placed next to one another. SKYN's standard range is built around 53 mm, Trojan Original is 53 mm, Pasante Regular is 54 mm, LELO HEX Original is 54 mm, and Durex Regular Fit is 56 mm. ONE's standard products are mostly 53 mm, with ONE Flex at 54 mm.

This spread matters because a three-millimetre difference can be meaningful in a close-fitting elastic product. Someone who is comfortable in a 53 mm SKYN Original may find a 56 mm Durex Regular roomier. Someone who wears a 56 mm Durex Regular may discover that SKYN Large—not SKYN Original—is the technically closer cross-brand match.

Use the word “regular” only as a shopping category. Use the nominal width as the technical measurement. If the product is shaped, also check whether the published number is a base width, mid-body width or a single straight nominal width.

Read the Spectrum Carefully

A simple width range can hide major design differences. Trojan Magnum products, for example, flare from a narrower base into a wider mid-body. MyONE uses width and length combinations rather than a small/regular/large ladder.

  • MyONE gives the most custom width-and-length combinations.
  • Pasante reaches the widest headline external-condom width in this chart.
  • SKYN UK has a compact 53–56 mm currently available range.
  • Durex UK uses multiple fit families with 57 and 60 mm wide options.
  • Trojan Magnum needs base and mid-body measurements together.

Durex Condom Sizes by Brand System

Durex UK presents one of the clearest consumer-facing fit systems: Close, Regular and Wide. The current buying guide identifies Close Fit at 52.5 mm nominal width and Regular Fit at 56 mm. It gives Wide Fit as 57 mm in the overview, but individual product families show that some Wide Fit products are larger.

Durex Originals Wide is 57 mm, while Durex Thin Feel Wide and Durex Nude Wide are listed at 60 mm. That means “Durex Wide” is a category rather than one universal technical width. When moving between Durex product families, check the exact number on the specific pack or product page.

Durex also sells both latex and non-latex condoms. Many familiar Originals, Thin Feel and Nude products are natural-rubber latex, while selected lines such as Real Feel and newer nitrile products use non-latex materials. Material differences can alter stretch and feel even when the nominal width is the same.

For a dedicated cross-brand comparison, see SKYN vs Durex Condom Sizes and the Durex Condom Size Chart.

SKYN Condom Sizes by Brand System

SKYN UK's range is simpler in width terms. SKYN Original, Elite, Extra Lube, Intense Feel and several assortment products are currently centered on 53 mm nominal width. SKYN Large is 56 mm and is identified by SKYN as its largest current condom in the UK.

SKYN also identifies Close Feel at 51 mm as its tightest-fitting condom, but the company's UK FAQ says that product is not currently available in the United Kingdom. For a UK shopper, the realistic main size ladder is therefore 53 mm standard to 56 mm Large.

SKYN's major point of difference is material. The brand uses SKYNFEEL synthetic polyisoprene rather than natural-rubber latex. So even when SKYN Large and Durex Regular share the same 56 mm nominal width, they may not feel identical. Width is only one dimension of the comparison.

Pasante Condom Sizes by Brand System

Pasante has one of the widest clearly published size ladders in this comparison. The current core range moves from Trim 49 mm to Regular 54 mm, King Size 60 mm and Super King 69 mm. Nominal lengths also rise from 180 mm to 190 mm, 205 mm and 210 mm.

Pasante's wider specification table fills in some useful steps between the core sizes. Extra and Sensitive are listed at 52 mm; Silk Thin, Glow, flavours and several other variants at 53 mm; Black Velvet at 56 mm; Sensiva at 60 mm. This makes Pasante useful for shoppers who want both a clear four-size ladder and multiple specialist products around the middle.

Pasante also publishes tolerances such as 54 ±2 mm. Those tolerances are a reminder not to overinterpret tiny one-millimetre differences across unrelated brands. Shape, material and manufacturing specification matter too.

See the dedicated Pasante Condom Size Chart for the complete product-by-product table.

Trojan and Magnum Condom Sizes

Trojan's sizing system is harder to reduce to a single width ladder because many of its products are shaped. Trojan Original uses a 53 mm base width and a straight wall. Several other classic and thin products sit near the same base dimension. Once you move into Magnum, the mid-body can be significantly wider than the base.

Current Trojan data lists Magnum Original at 55 mm base and 62 mm mid-body, Magnum Raw at 57 mm base and 60 mm mid-body, and Magnum XL at 58 mm base and 63 mm mid-body. Magnum Ecstasy is even more dramatic because its base can remain relatively narrow while the head/mid-body becomes much roomier.

This makes Trojan an excellent example of why nominal width needs context. If you compare only one “Magnum size” number with a straight 58 mm condom from another brand, you can miss the whole point of the tapered or bulbous shape. Check base width, mid-body width and overall length together.

Trojan also sells non-latex products with very different constructions. Naturalamb is a natural membrane product and the company states that it helps prevent pregnancy but does not protect against STIs. It should therefore not be treated as a direct substitute for latex, polyurethane or synthetic-rubber condoms when STI prevention matters.

ONE and MyONE Condom Sizes

ONE uses two very different sizing approaches. Its standard condoms are familiar mainstream dimensions: most current ONE products are 53 mm nominal width, ONE Flex is 54 mm, and standard length is around 191 mm. ONE Legend is a shaped, larger product with a 56 mm base, 58.5 mm middle and 61 mm head.

MyONE Custom Fit takes a completely different approach. Instead of a few category labels, it uses a FitCode combining a width/girth number with a length letter. Current MyONE information describes nine girth-number widths from 45 mm to 64 mm and multiple length letters, creating 52 unique size combinations.

That means a user can choose a shorter wide condom, a longer narrow condom or many combinations that standard “regular vs XL” ranges do not offer. For people whose problem is excess length rather than width—or vice versa—this decoupled system can make more technical sense than choosing a generic large label.

Custom-fit lesson: Width and length are separate variables. A condom can be too long but not too wide, or too tight in girth while being longer than necessary.

LELO HEX Condom Sizes

LELO HEX keeps sizing comparatively simple. The original HEX is listed at 54 mm width and 180 mm length. HEX Respect XL is 58 mm width and 195 mm length. Both are natural-latex products built around LELO's internal hexagonal structure.

That 4 mm width and 15 mm length increase makes Respect XL a clear technical step up from the original. Compared with other brands, HEX Original sits very close to Pasante Regular at 54 mm, while Respect XL sits between many 56 mm “large/regular” products and 60 mm wide products.

Which Condom Brands Are Closest in Standard Size?

The largest overlap occurs around 53–56 mm. SKYN Original, Trojan Original and most ONE condoms sit at 53 mm. Pasante Regular and LELO HEX sit at 54 mm. Durex Regular and SKYN Large sit at 56 mm. These numbers explain why “standard” does not mean exactly one measurement, but the brands still cluster in a relatively narrow technical zone.

Which Brand Has the Narrowest Condom?

MyONE reaches the narrowest nominal width in this comparison with 45 mm custom-fit options. Its system also combines that width with multiple shorter lengths, which can help people who find standard condoms both too loose and too long.

Among more conventional fixed product lines, Pasante Trim is 49 mm. SKYN Close Feel is 51 mm but is not currently available in the UK according to SKYN's own FAQ. Durex Close Fit is 52.5 mm. This gives shoppers several technically different “snug” or “close” ideas across brands.

If slipping is your problem, first check correct application, erection changes and lubrication before assuming the condom is too wide. If those factors are not the issue, a narrower nominal width can be worth comparing.

Which Brand Has the Widest Condom?

Pasante Super King is listed at 69 ±2 mm nominal width and 210 ±10 mm length, making it the widest conventional external-condom headline size among the brand ranges compared here. MyONE reaches 64 mm but offers many more width-and-length combinations. Durex UK reaches 60 mm in selected Wide Fit lines, and SKYN UK's largest current option is 56 mm.

Trojan's comparison is more complicated because Magnum widths change from base to mid-body. Magnum XL uses a 58 mm base but expands to about 63 mm at mid-body. A shaped 58/63 mm condom may feel very different from a straight 60 mm condom even though both are marketed as larger fits.

Do not choose the widest available product simply for comfort. Excess room can reduce security. A well-fitting condom should stay in place without painful restriction.

Condom Size Labels by Brand: Regular, Large, XL and King Are Not Standardized

Cross-brand shopping becomes confusing because manufacturers use different naming strategies. Durex uses Close, Regular and Wide. SKYN uses standard product names plus Large. Pasante uses Trim, Regular, King Size and Super King. Trojan uses classic lines and Magnum / Magnum XL. ONE offers standard styles and MyONE FitCodes. LELO uses HEX and HEX Respect XL.

Those labels are useful inside each brand because they describe that company's own range. They become unreliable when compared directly across brands. SKYN Large and Durex Regular are both 56 mm. Pasante King Size is 60 mm. LELO's XL is 58 mm. Trojan Magnum Original is only 55 mm at the base but expands to 62 mm through the mid-body.

Therefore, the best translation language between brands is nominal width plus shape. If the condom is straight, one width may be reasonably descriptive. If it is tapered or bulbous, look for at least base and mid-body widths.

Nominal Width vs Penis Girth Across Brands

Nominal width is a product measurement. Penis girth is a body circumference. They are not the same number and should not be matched directly. Measure erect girth around the fullest part of the shaft with a flexible tape, then use that measurement to narrow a sensible product-width range.

If you already know the width of a condom that fits well, that known product is often an even better practical baseline. For example, if a 53 mm SKYN or Trojan feels secure and comfortable, compare other brands around 52.5–54 mm before making a large jump. If a 56 mm Durex Regular feels slightly restrictive, a 57–60 mm wider product may be worth researching depending on shape.

Our How to Find Your Condom Fit guide explains the full measurement process, while Condom Width mm to Inches converts technical widths without confusing them with body girth.

Why Shape Can Matter More Than a 1–2 mm Width Difference

A straight condom uses roughly similar width through much of the shaft. A tapered or flared condom may grip more closely at the base and provide substantially more room around the head or mid-shaft. That means a 55 mm Magnum Original base with a 62 mm mid-body cannot be fairly described as simply “55 mm” in the same way as a straight 55 mm condom.

Even within straight products, materials differ in stretch and surface feel. SKYN's polyisoprene, natural-rubber latex, polyurethane and nitrile do not behave identically. Thickness, lubrication and roll-bead design can also influence comfort.

If two products are only one millimetre apart, do not assume width is the only meaningful difference. A shape change can be more noticeable than the headline width change.

How Condom Length Varies by Brand

Width and length are separate sizing dimensions. Pasante's core ladder demonstrates this clearly: Trim is 180 mm, Regular 190 mm, King 205 mm and Super King 210 mm. LELO HEX is 180 mm while Respect XL is 195 mm. Trojan standard products often fall around 170–190 mm, while Magnum products commonly extend to 180–210 mm depending on model.

MyONE goes further by decoupling width and length. Its FitCode system lets the shopper select a width step and a separate length code, which avoids the common industry assumption that wider automatically means longer.

If your fit problem is mainly excess rolled material at the base or insufficient coverage, compare length directly. See the Condom Length Measurement Guide for a consistent measuring method.

Material Comparison by Condom Brand

Durex sells a mix of latex and selected non-latex products. SKYN is built around synthetic polyisoprene. Pasante is mostly latex but includes polyurethane Sensiva. Trojan sells latex lines plus selected non-latex products such as polyurethane and natural membrane. ONE/MyONE use natural-rubber latex, and LELO HEX is natural latex.

Material matters for allergy, lubricant compatibility and feel. If you have a known or suspected latex allergy, check the exact product label and seek medical advice if you have experienced reactions. Do not assume an entire brand is latex-free just because one product is.

Natural membrane condoms such as lambskin are a special case. CDC notes that natural membrane condoms should not be used for HIV or other STI prevention because the membrane has small pores. They can be used for pregnancy prevention according to product instructions, but they are not equivalent to latex or synthetic condoms for STI protection.

How to Switch Condom Brands Without Guessing the Size

The safest way to switch brands is to start with a known technical specification. Find the nominal width and length of the condom you already use successfully. Then look for a new product with a similar width, material class and shape before experimenting with larger changes.

If you move from SKYN Original 53 mm to Pasante Regular 54 mm, the width change is small. Moving from SKYN Original to Durex Regular 56 mm is larger. Moving from Pasante Regular 54 mm to Pasante King 60 mm is larger again. The millimetre numbers let you quantify those jumps.

Change one major variable at a time when practical. If you simultaneously change width, shape, material and length, it becomes difficult to know which feature improved or worsened the fit.

Brand Size Comparison in Inches

Millimetres are more precise for condom sizing, but inches can help readers who prefer imperial units. To convert nominal width, divide millimetres by 25.4.

Correct Fit Signs Across Any Condom Brand

A suitable condom should unroll correctly, remain secure during use, provide adequate coverage and avoid painful restriction. If it repeatedly slips, bunches or moves, check application and erection changes before concluding the width is wrong. If it feels painfully constrictive, a wider or differently shaped product may be worth comparing.

Do not chase a brand's “XL” label if your current regular product already fits well. A larger label is not automatically more comfortable or safer. Fit should be secure and comfortable, not loose.

Too TightCompare Width + Shape

Check whether the problem is all-over restriction or a contour mismatch.

Secure FitKeep the Known Specs

A successful product gives you a reliable width, length and material baseline.

Too LooseReview Use, Then Narrow

Check application first; if needed, compare a smaller nominal width.

Switching BrandsMatch Millimetres First

Technical dimensions travel across brands better than marketing labels.

Safety and Correct Condom Use

A size chart helps you select a product, but correct use remains essential. NHS guidance says to use a new condom every time, put it on before sexual contact, squeeze air from the tip, roll it all the way down and hold the base during withdrawal. CDC guidance similarly emphasizes correct use from start to finish and warns against using more than one condom at a time.

For latex condoms, avoid oil-based lubricants because they can weaken latex. Water- or silicone-based lubricants are generally compatible with latex. WHO notes that appropriate lubricant can make condoms less likely to break, slip or fall off. Always follow the instructions supplied with the specific product because material compatibility can vary.

Final Takeaway: Compare the Millimetres, Not Just the Brand Label

The clearest lesson from this condom size comparison by brand is that size names do not translate cleanly. SKYN standard is 53 mm, Pasante Regular is 54 mm, Durex Regular is 56 mm, SKYN Large is also 56 mm, Pasante King is 60 mm and LELO's XL is 58 mm. Trojan's Magnum line adds another layer because its base and mid-body widths differ.

Use exact nominal width as your main cross-brand comparison. Then check length, shape and material. If you need very fine control over both width and length, a custom-fit system such as MyONE illustrates how those two variables can be separated. If you need very wide fixed-size options, Pasante's range extends farther than several mainstream UK brands.

The best brand is not the one with the biggest label or widest number. It is the product whose dimensions, material and shape give you a secure, comfortable fit when used correctly.

Condom Size Comparison by Brand FAQs

Common questions about Durex, SKYN, Pasante, Trojan, ONE/MyONE and LELO condom sizes.

Among the brands compared here, MyONE has the broadest custom-fit system, with 52 size combinations using nine nominal-width steps from 45 mm to 64 mm and multiple lengths. Pasante reaches farther in headline width with Super King at 69 mm, but it does not offer the same number of width-and-length combinations.
There is no universal regular width. SKYN's standard products are 53 mm, Pasante Regular is 54 mm, Trojan Original is 53 mm, Durex Regular is 56 mm, ONE standard products are commonly 53–54 mm, and LELO HEX Original is 54 mm.
MyONE offers 45 mm nominal-width custom-fit condoms. Pasante Trim is 49 mm. SKYN identifies Close Feel at 51 mm, though SKYN says it is not currently available in the UK, and Durex Close is 52.5 mm.
Pasante Super King is listed at 69 ±2 mm nominal width. Trojan Naturalamb is approximately 69 mm at the base but is a natural membrane product and is not suitable for STI prevention, so it should not be treated as directly equivalent to latex or synthetic-rubber external condoms.
No. SKYN's standard products are 53 mm nominal width, while Durex Regular Fit is 56 mm. SKYN Large is 56 mm, making it a closer width match to Durex Regular.
They are close but not identical. Pasante Regular is 54 ±2 mm nominal width, while Trojan Original is 53 mm base width.
Most standard ONE condoms are 53 mm nominal width, with ONE Flex at 54 mm. ONE Legend is shaped and wider, while MyONE Custom Fit uses nine width numbers from 45 mm to 64 mm with multiple length letters.
Trojan Magnum sizes are shaped rather than simple straight tubes. Current Trojan data lists Magnum Original at 55 mm base and 62 mm mid-body, Magnum Raw at 57 mm base and 60 mm mid-body, and Magnum XL at 58 mm base and 63 mm mid-body.
LELO HEX Original is listed at 54 mm and 180 mm length. HEX Respect XL is 58 mm and 195 mm length.
No. Material, elasticity, contour, thickness and length can all change how two condoms with the same nominal width feel. Use width as the main technical comparison, then check the rest of the product design.
No. Nominal width is the flat width of the condom. Penis girth is the full circumference around the erect shaft. Measure girth separately.
Use the chart to narrow your comparison, then verify the current product specification, measure your body consistently and judge security and comfort during correct use. Product ranges and regional availability can change.
