However, Durex Thin Feel Regular currently lists 54 mm.
So “Durex Regular vs SKYN Original” can mean a 1 mm difference or a 3 mm difference depending on which Durex regular-fit product you mean. For an accurate fit comparison, always use the product name plus nominal width rather than brand + generic size label alone.
Do not stop at “regular” or “large”.
SKYN Large is currently listed at 56 mm nominal width. Durex Originals Wide Fit is currently listed at 57 mm, making the Durex Originals Wide option 1 mm wider by nominal width. In another Durex family, the Nude wide-fit option is advertised at 60 mm, illustrating again that “Durex Wide” is not one universal measurement.
A 1 mm nominal-width difference may sound small, but condoms are elastic products and small dimension changes can be noticeable for some users. Material, wall shape, lubrication, thickness and overall length can also affect feel. That is why the best comparison is model-to-model rather than a simple brand ranking.
Current SKYN pages list both Original and Elite at 53 mm nominal width. SKYN describes Elite as thinner than Original, so the two products can differ in sensation even though their published width is the same. This is a useful reminder that condom sizing is only one part of product choice.
If Original fits you securely and comfortably, Elite does not automatically require a different nominal width simply because it is a different SKYN model. Still, read the current pack and instructions because product specifications can be updated.
Many Durex UK condoms, including the Originals and Thin Feel examples used in this chart, are natural rubber latex. Durex also sells non-latex options such as Real Feel. SKYN’s core brand identity is different: SKYN condoms are made from its non-latex SKYNFEEL® polyisoprene material.
Material can affect stretch, feel, smell and user preference, so two condoms with the same 56 mm nominal width may not feel identical. For example, a 56 mm Durex latex product and a 56 mm SKYN Large have the same published width number but different material construction. If you have a known or suspected latex allergy, check the current product material rather than assuming by brand name alone.

For a narrower technical width, look at the specific product rather than the brand. Durex Thin Feel Close Fit is currently listed at 52.5 mm, slightly narrower than the 53 mm used by SKYN Original and Elite. That makes the Durex close-fit example the narrower option in this particular comparison.
However, “snugger” is not automatically “better”. A correct condom fit should stay secure without painful pressure or extreme difficulty unrolling. If your current condom repeatedly slips, compare a slightly narrower nominal width; if it is painfully tight or difficult to unroll despite correct application, compare a wider option.
Based on the current official examples used here, Durex UK exposes more visible width variation across product families—from close-fit options around 52.5 mm through regular models at 54 or 56 mm to wide examples at 57 or 60 mm. That does not make one approach inherently better. SKYN may suit someone who prefers its non-latex material and a simpler size range, while Durex may offer more width choices within certain UK product families. Availability can differ by market, so local official listings matter.
If you are switching from Durex because of material preference, latex sensitivity or curiosity, first note the exact Durex nominal width you currently use. If your Durex is 54 mm and comfortable, SKYN Original at 53 mm is 1 mm narrower while SKYN Large at 56 mm is 2 mm wider. If your Durex is 56 mm, SKYN Large provides the same published nominal width, although the material and shape may feel different.
