Circumference measured around the erect shaft. It is a body measurement and should remain separate from nominal width.
The width straight across the flexible condom when it is laid flat. In Slovenian listings this may appear as nazivna širina.
A separate condom dimension. A wider condom is not automatically a longer condom.
Check the current Slovenian package or retailer information because availability and specifications can change.

Slovenian shops may describe condoms using terms such as standardna velikost, standardna širina, tesno prilegajoči, Regular Fit, Wide Fit, XL or XXL.
These words can be useful inside one manufacturer's catalogue, but they should not be treated as universal numerical categories.
A closer-fitting product family. Slovenian Durex sizing guidance currently points to approximately 52 mm for this category.
A common middle-range category. Current Durex Slovenia guidance uses 56 mm as its standard width.
A wider product may use a higher nominal width, but the exact millimetre measurement varies between ranges.
XL is not one universal measurement. Current Slovenian Durex references include 57 mm and a 60 mm Wide Fit product.
In Slovenian product descriptions, nazivna širina means nominal width.
It describes the width straight across a flexible condom while the product is laid flat.
For example, a 56 mm condom measures 56 millimetres across at the stated nominal-width measurement. A 60 mm condom is therefore 4 mm wider than a 56 mm condom when comparing the same measurement.

Penis girth and condom nominal width are related to fit, but they are not the same type of measurement.
Do not compare a body girth number directly with 52 mm or 56 mm as though both values measure the same geometry.
Measure while fully erect. Use a flexible measuring tape around the shaft to record erect girth. The tape should contact the body without being pulled so tightly that it significantly compresses the tissue.
Then measure erect length separately. Record the unit clearly.

Millimetres provide an easy way to compare small differences between condom widths. Centimetres and inches are useful when reading body measurements or international guides.
Example: 56 mm = 5.6 cm ≈ 2.205 inches.
Changing the measurement unit does not change the physical product.

A 52 mm nominal width equals 5.2 cm or approximately 2.047 inches.
Current Slovenian retail information includes 52 mm products, and Durex's Slovenian sizing guide uses 52 mm as its close-fitting width reference.
A 52 mm product is 4 mm narrower than a 56 mm product when nominal width is compared directly.
A 56 mm nominal width equals 5.6 cm or approximately 2.205 inches.
This is a particularly common current Slovenian-market reference. Durex Originals Classic, Feel Thin, Mutual Pleasure, Sensual and several other products are listed at 56 mm.
Some are latex, some are non-latex and some have different textures or thicknesses. Matching width therefore does not make the products identical.
A 57 mm nominal width equals 5.7 cm or approximately 2.244 inches.
Current Durex Slovenia sizing guidance uses 57 mm as an XL width reference.
That does not mean every XL condom sold in Slovenia is 57 mm. A product with another shape or manufacturer can use another width.
A 60 mm nominal width equals exactly 6 cm or approximately 2.362 inches.
Durex Invisible XL Wide Fit is one current Slovenia-market example listed at 60 mm nominal width.
It is 4 mm wider than a 56 mm product and 8 mm wider than a 52 mm product when comparing nominal width with nominal width.

A practical condom-size comparison separates your own body measurement from the product width and then checks the exact condom sold in Slovenia.
Measure circumference around the erect shaft and keep that number clearly labelled as girth.
Nazivna širina is measured across the flattened flexible condom and lets you compare products using millimetres.
Check the exact Slovenian package because material, shape, width and instructions can differ between products.
Nominal width measured in millimetres is directly comparable across countries. A 56 mm nominal-width condom in Slovenia is numerically the same width as another 56 mm product elsewhere when both numbers refer to nominal width.
However, this does not make the products identical. Shape, material, length and product construction can differ.
European marketing labels such as Regular, Large, Wide, XL and XXL are also not guaranteed to mean one exact width.
The millimetre measurement itself is directly comparable, but Slovenian and Swiss retailers may sell different product ranges or versions.
Compare the exact nominal width rather than assuming a Swiss Regular product equals a Slovenian Standard product.
The technical width units are compatible, but product availability and category names can differ by country.
A 56 mm product in Canada and a 56 mm product in Slovenia share the same headline nominal-width number, but material, contour and length may still differ.

Some Slovenian sizing information treats approximately 52 mm as a close or tighter-fitting option.
However, “Small” is not a universal technical category. Another brand may use different wording for a 52 mm product.
For precise comparison, simply describe it as a 52 mm nominal-width condom.

That still does not make 56 mm the universal definition of Regular for every condom brand.

There is no single universal XL nominal width.
Durex's current Slovenian sizing guide references 57 mm for XL, while the currently listed Durex Invisible XL Wide Fit has a 60 mm nominal width.

Material and size are separate product characteristics.
Many condoms available in Slovenia use natural rubber latex, but non-latex products are also available. Current Slovenian listings, for example, include 56 mm polyisoprene products.
A non-latex condom still needs an appropriate width and length. Do not choose solely by material while ignoring product dimensions.
The condom should be able to roll on correctly and remain securely in place during use without repeatedly causing painful restriction.
If the same correctly applied product repeatedly slips or moves excessively, check its nominal width and compare a nearby narrower option.
If it repeatedly feels painfully restrictive, check the current width and compare a nearby wider product after confirming correct application.
Slovenia's National Institute of Public Health, NIJZ, continues to emphasise correct condom use as an important part of preventing sexually transmitted infections.
Check the package and expiry information before use, open it carefully and follow the instructions supplied with the exact product.
Use a new condom for each act of sex. Condom sizing and correct application work together; finding a suitable width does not replace proper use.
