Nominal width is the condom’s width when it is laid flat. It is usually written in millimetres. This is the most useful technical figure when you compare condoms sold in the UAE.
Nominal width is not penis girth. Girth is the full circumference around the erect penis, while nominal width is a flat product measurement. A 56 mm condom therefore does not mean it is designed for a 56 mm penis circumference.
In Arabic product descriptions, you may see wording equivalent to العرض الاسمي for nominal width and الواقي الذكري for condom. Whether the product page is in English or Arabic, the millimetre figure is the number to compare.

If a 56 mm product feels too loose, 52 mm is a meaningful narrower comparison. The four-millimetre drop in flat width can noticeably change tension. However, material, thickness and shape can also make two 52 mm products feel different.

Durex Thin Feel XL is currently published by Durex Middle East at 57 mm nominal width and explicitly described as Extra Large. That makes 57 mm a current Durex regional XL comparison point.
The difference between 56 mm and 57 mm is only one millimetre at the flat width. That does not mean the two products will feel identical because shape, elasticity and lubricant can differ.
If 56 mm feels close to right but slightly restrictive, 57 mm can be a logical nearby comparison before moving into much wider 60 mm or specialist sizes.

If you already use a 52 mm condom comfortably, keep 52 mm as your technical baseline when trying another product.
56 mm can sit in a standard-to-roomy or large-girth position depending on the product. Current Durex Middle East pages use 56 mm across several products, and Extended Pleasure specifically describes its 56 mm design as large-girth.
The important point is that 56 mm is a technical width, while “standard” and “large” are marketing language. A person switching from a 56 mm Durex Real Feel to another 56 mm product is keeping width more consistent even if the label changes.
60 mm is clearly wider than the mainstream Durex regional 52–57 mm examples on this page. Pasante currently identifies its 60 mm, 205 mm-long product as King Size.
A 60 mm condom can be a reasonable next comparison when 56–57 mm products remain too restrictive after correct application and accurate measurement. Do not jump to 60 mm simply because the label “King Size” sounds preferable.
Pasante’s current manufacturer specifications include Super King at 69 mm nominal width and 210 mm length. That is substantially wider than mainstream 52–57 mm examples.
A 69 mm product should be treated as a specialist extra-wide comparison, not a default XL choice. Measure girth carefully and move through nearby widths where possible before considering a very wide product.

The measurement method is the same whether you are shopping in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or another Emirate. Measure the penis while fully erect. For girth, wrap a flexible tape around the fullest part of the shaft and record the complete circumference.

If a condom already fits well, find its nominal width before switching brands. That known width is more useful than remembering only “regular”, “large” or “XL”.
For example, if a Durex 56 mm product fits securely, compare another product near 54–57 mm first. Moving straight to a 60 mm King Size condom changes the flat width by four millimetres and can make the base significantly roomier.

The Arabic or English label is less important than the technical width. Two products described as “large” can have very different millimetre measurements.
