Words such as standard, regular, large, wide and XL are useful for shopping, but they are not universal units of measurement.
For example, Durex Regular Fit is currently represented by a 56 mm reference in its UK fit guide, while SKYN Original is 53 mm and SKYN Large is 56 mm. ONE's standard styles are mostly around 53 mm.
This means a brand's “Large” product can sometimes have a width similar to another brand's “Regular” product.
For technical comparison, write down the actual millimetre number.
Durex UK uses Close Fit, Regular Fit and Wide Fit categories. The general current references are 52.5 mm, 56 mm and 57 mm, although individual products can differ.
Many standard Trojan products use a 53 mm base width. Trojan also offers shaped products where the width changes through the body.
Magnum products require extra attention because several designs flare from a narrower base to a wider mid-body.

The best comparison is therefore not simply “Durex vs Trojan.” It is one exact Durex product against one exact Trojan product.
Durex and Magnum are particularly difficult to compare with one single width number because Magnum often uses a flared shape.
Magnum Original currently lists a 55 mm base and a 62 mm mid-body, while Magnum XL lists a 58 mm base and 63 mm mid-body. This means a Durex nominal width can be close to the Magnum base but narrower than the Magnum mid-body.

Durex Close Fit at 52.5 mm and SKYN Original at 53 mm are only 0.5 mm apart numerically.
Durex Regular Fit and SKYN Large both use a 56 mm figure in their current official general/product references.
That does not make those products identical. Durex and SKYN use different materials and individual product constructions, so the matching nominal-width number should be treated as a dimensional comparison rather than proof of identical fit.
Several standard Trojan products and SKYN Original share a 53 mm width reference. That makes their basic flat-width numbers easy to compare.
However, Trojan also offers products with wider mid-body shapes, while SKYN has its own material and construction. Width is therefore one part of the comparison rather than the entire product specification.
SKYN Large and Durex Regular Fit both currently use a 56 mm width reference.
This is a useful example of two different brands reaching the same nominal-width number while applying different category names: one is described as Large, while the other is Regular Fit.
Most standard ONE styles currently use about 53 mm nominal width. This sits close to Durex Close Fit's 52.5 mm reference and below Durex Regular Fit's 56 mm reference.
ONE also sells wider shaped products and its MyONE Custom Fit system greatly expands the available width range.
MyONE differs from conventional brand sizing because it combines multiple widths with multiple lengths rather than relying on only a few broad categories.
The current width numbers run from 45 mm through 64 mm. That means the range includes widths below many standard condoms, widths around common standard references and substantially wider options.
The useful comparison is therefore the individual MyONE FitCode rather than “MyONE” as one single size.
Widths around 52–53 mm appear frequently in standard or closer-fit products.
These products are close numerically, but exact construction and shape can still differ.
Widths around 55–56 mm show how category names begin to diverge between manufacturers.
So a number around 56 mm does not automatically mean Regular, Large or XL across every range.
The 57–60 mm region includes many products marketed as wider or larger, but the labels still vary.
Durex's general Wide Fit reference is 57 mm, some Durex wide-fit products can reach 60 mm, Magnum Raw uses a 57 mm base and 60 mm mid-body, and MyONE includes both 57 mm and 60 mm width options.
A product labelled Wide at 57 mm and another labelled XL at a nearby width are not automatically equivalent because shape and length can also differ.
Different brands can apply different names to similar widths, and products with similar base widths can still have different shapes.
A larger nominal-width number is technically wider when compared at the same measurement point.
Nominal width measures across the flattened flexible condom and is separate from penis girth.

There is no single width used by every condom brand or every standard-size product. Widths around the low-50 mm range are common among many conventional products, but individual manufacturers choose their own product dimensions and labels.

Many condoms are described with one headline nominal-width figure. Magnum is different because Trojan publishes separate base and mid-body widths for several products.
